Xpelair VX100P-SP 4" / 100mm Single Speed Axial Fan

This model is part of the VX100 range, which is a family of single-speed axial extractor fans intended for domestic ventilation. The “P” designation indicates pull-cord control, meaning the fan is operated directly by an integrated pull switch on the unit itself rather than being wired to a light switch or external controller. This makes it particularly suitable for installations where independent manual operation is preferred or where electrical switching circuits are not available.

The “SP” (short spigot) version refers to its compact rear duct connection design, which allows installation in shallow wall cavities or tight ceiling voids where standard-depth fans may not physically fit. This makes it especially useful in retrofits or properties with limited installation space.

The VX100P-SP is designed to provide reliable mechanical extraction of moist air, helping to reduce condensation, damp, and mould in bathrooms, en-suites, and toilets. Air is drawn from the room through the fan and expelled externally via ducting or a wall vent, improving overall ventilation and air quality.

It typically delivers an airflow of around 76 m³/h (approximately 21 l/s), which is suitable for standard-sized domestic bathrooms. The axial impeller design is optimised for short duct runs and direct wall extraction, providing efficient airflow without complex ducting systems.
