Xpelair DX150S 150mm 6" Square Standard Extractor Fan

The DX150S forms part of Xpelair’s Simply Silent DX range, which combines strong extraction performance with quieter operation and contemporary styling. The fan is engineered to control humidity, condensation, odours, and mould growth efficiently while producing less operational noise than many traditional axial extractor fans. It uses Xpelair’s Ghost Air Movement Technology, which helps reduce turbulence and vibration for smoother and quieter airflow performance.

This model is the standard switched version of the DX150 range. It operates via an external switch such as a lighting circuit or wall isolator and runs only while power is supplied. Unlike timer, humidistat, or pull-cord versions, the DX150S switches off immediately when the external switch is turned off, making it a simple and reliable ventilation solution for installations where automatic controls are not required.

The fan uses a 150mm axial impeller system and delivers airflow performance of approximately 214–259 m³/h (around 60–72 litres per second) depending on the selected installation speed. This makes it particularly suitable for:
