The AL100 is part of Xpelair’s AirLine ventilation range and is supplied as a complete installation kit, typically including the inline fan unit, flexible ducting, internal white and chrome grilles, an external wall grille, and all necessary fixings. This makes it a convenient all-in-one solution for bathroom ventilation projects in both new builds and refurbishments.

The system is designed to extract moist air from bathrooms, en-suites, and shower rooms, helping to prevent condensation, damp, and mould formation. Air is drawn through ducting from the room and expelled externally, improving indoor air quality and maintaining compliance with ventilation requirements in residential buildings.

A key feature of the AL100 is its loft-mounted installation design, where the fan unit is positioned above the bathroom in the loft space rather than directly in the ceiling or wall. This significantly reduces operational noise in the occupied room while maintaining effective extraction performance. The unit is typically activated via an external switch, such as a bathroom light circuit, meaning it runs only when the room is in use.

The AL100 provides a single-speed airflow of approximately 85 m³/h (24 l/s), which is suitable for standard domestic bathrooms and shower rooms. Its axial impeller design is optimised for efficient air movement through short duct runs, making it ideal for straightforward inline extraction setups.
