The GPE1EX1-UN is an M20 E1EX unplated brass cable gland kit designed for the safe termination of steel wire armoured (SWA) and aluminium wire armoured (AWA) cables* in hazardous area installations. Engineered for use in explosive atmospheres, the gland provides secure armour clamping, dependable earth continuity, and dual sealing of the cable sheath to maintain equipment integrity in demanding industrial environments.

Featuring a freely rotating captive cone and inspectable cone ring, the E1EX design enables easy installation and post-assembly inspection of the armour clamp and inner seal. Its patented disconnect system allows verification of correct termination without dismantling the entire gland, reducing installation time and improving maintenance efficiency. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, the gland delivers reliable ingress protection and long-term durability in hazardous locations.
