The GPE1EX0-UN is an M20 E1EX unplated brass cable gland kit designed for the secure termination of steel wire armoured (SWA) and aluminium wire armoured (AWA) cables* in hazardous area installations. Engineered for use in explosive atmospheres, the gland provides reliable armour clamping, dependable earth continuity, and dual sealing of the cable sheath to maintain equipment integrity in demanding industrial environments.

Featuring a freely rotating captive cone and inspectable cone ring, the E1EX design enables fast installation and verification of correct armour termination. Its patented disconnect system allows inspection of the armour clamp and inner seal after assembly, reducing maintenance time while ensuring compliance with hazardous area requirements.
