ESi Clamp-On Mechanical Cylinder Thermostat ESCTS

The ESi ESCTS is a clamp-on cylinder thermostat designed for accurate temperature control of domestic hot water cylinders. It is used to monitor and regulate stored hot water temperature, helping improve system efficiency, reduce energy waste, and ensure safe hot water delivery in residential heating systems.

This thermostat is typically fitted directly onto the surface of a hot water cylinder or pipework using the supplied strap and mounting hardware. It uses a bimetallic sensing element to provide reliable and consistent temperature readings, allowing the heating system to switch on and off based on the cylinder water temperature.

The ESCTS features a clear, easy-to-read adjustable dial, usually offering a temperature range from approximately 0°C to 80°C. In practical use, it is commonly set between 60°C and 65°C, which helps prevent the growth of harmful bacteria while maintaining energy efficiency.

Designed for versatility, the ESCTS can be used to control boilers, circulating pumps, or zone valves depending on the system configuration. It is suitable for both insulated and uninsulated cylinders and is widely used in domestic heating and hot water installations.
