Danlers Surface Mounted for Solid Ceilings
The DANLERS CESRPIR is a hard-wired ceiling surface-mounted PIR occupancy switch designed for the automatic control of lighting, ventilation, heating, and other electrical loads based on occupancy. Specifically developed for installation on solid ceilings, the CESRPIR combines motion detection, daylight sensing, and adjustable timing functions within a compact surface-mounted housing, making it an effective energy-saving solution for commercial, educational, healthcare, and residential environments.
The unit uses a high-performance passive infrared (PIR) sensor to detect the movement of occupants within its coverage area. When movement is detected and ambient light levels are below the selected threshold, the connected load is automatically switched on. If no further movement is detected, the unit switches the load off after a user-selected time period, helping to eliminate unnecessary energy consumption caused by lights being left on in unoccupied areas.
A major advantage of the CESRPIR is its 360-degree detection pattern, providing full-room coverage when mounted centrally on a ceiling. The sensor is suitable for installation heights typically between 2.4 and 5 metres and can monitor an area with a detection diameter of approximately 7 metres, making it suitable for offices, classrooms, corridors, washrooms, storerooms, and communal spaces.
