Danlers Ceiling Look Down Occupancy Switch

The DANLERS CELO is a surface-mounted PIR (Passive Infrared) occupancy switch designed for the automatic control of lighting, heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning loads. Specifically developed for installation on solid ceilings, the CELO provides reliable occupancy-based switching while helping reduce energy consumption by ensuring loads only operate when an area is occupied.

The unit incorporates a high-performance quad-element PIR sensor that detects movement from warm bodies within its detection zone. When occupancy is detected, the connected load switches on automatically. If no further movement is detected, the CELO switches the load off after a user-selected time delay. This makes it ideal for offices, classrooms, corridors, storerooms, washrooms, communal areas, and other spaces where lights are frequently left on unnecessarily.

A key advantage of the CELO is its 360° detection pattern, providing comprehensive room coverage from a central ceiling position. When installed at the recommended mounting height of 2.2 to 5 metres, it can detect movement across an area of approximately 5–7 metres diameter, making it suitable for both small and medium-sized spaces. The quad PIR detector creates multiple detection zones for improved sensitivity and occupancy recognition.
