The DANLERS EXTLSW-16A is a heavy-duty IP66-rated outdoor electronic time delay switch designed for automatic control of exterior lighting and heating loads. It is commonly used in commercial, industrial, and residential environments where equipment such as outdoor lights or infrared heaters needs to be switched on temporarily and then automatically turned off after a preset time period.

The device operates by means of a touch-sensitive illuminated button. When the user presses the control area, the connected electrical load is switched ON. A built-in electronic timer then begins counting down, and once the selected time has elapsed, the load automatically switches OFF. This simple “press-to-activate” functionality makes it ideal for energy-saving applications in areas where lights or heaters should not remain on continuously.
