CW Economy Glands Brass CW40

The CW40 Cable Gland is a heavy-duty three-part brass armoured cable gland designed for terminating steel wire armoured (SWA) and aluminium wire armoured (AWA) cables in both indoor and outdoor environments. It provides secure mechanical retention, reliable electrical continuity, and a weatherproof seal on the cable outer sheath, making it suitable for industrial, infrastructure, and commercial power installations.

Compared with BW glands (indoor-only IP54), the CW40 is designed for weatherproof outdoor use (typically IP66), offering improved sealing performance and environmental protection.

Manufactured from high-quality brass, the CW40 features a three-part armour locking system (back nut, armour cone, and gland body), allowing secure termination of armour wires while also enabling inspection and maintenance without full disassembly.
