Aico EI3028 Multi-Sensor Fire CO Alarm

The Aico Ei3028 Multi-Sensor Heat & Carbon Monoxide Alarm is a mains-powered, dual-detection safety device designed to provide combined protection against both fire (heat detection) and carbon monoxide (CO) in a single unit.

It uses a combination of a fast-acting thermistor heat sensor (triggering at around 58°C) and a high-precision electrochemical CO sensor, allowing it to detect both rapid temperature increases and dangerous levels of carbon monoxide from fuel-burning appliances.

The Ei3028 is powered by 230V AC mains electricity and includes a 10-year built-in rechargeable lithium backup battery, ensuring continuous operation even during power failures. This makes it suitable for long-term, low-maintenance installation in residential properties.

A key feature of the Ei3028 is its ability to combine two safety functions into one device, reducing the need for separate heat and CO alarms in areas such as kitchens, garages, and utility rooms where both risks may be present.

It supports Aico’s AudioLINK+ technology, allowing users to retrieve diagnostic data (such as alarm events and status information) via a smartphone app, and it is also SmartLINK compatible (with an add-on module) for wireless interconnection with other alarms in a full home system.
