Aico Ei1020 Environmental Sensor

The Aico Ei1020 is a wireless environmental sensor designed to monitor indoor conditions in residential and social housing properties.

It measures temperature and humidity, helping to identify risks such as condensation, damp, mould growth, poor ventilation, and energy inefficiency. The device is part of Aico’s connected HomeLINK ecosystem and is designed to support proactive property management rather than fire detection.

Powered by a sealed 10-year lithium battery, the Ei1020 is low-maintenance and intended for long-term installation. It wirelessly connects to an Ei1000G SmartLINK Gateway, which collects data from multiple sensors and feeds it into housing management platforms for analysis and reporting.

In practice, the Ei1020 is typically installed in rooms such as bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, and bathrooms, where environmental conditions can vary significantly. It does not produce alarms or warnings itself; instead, it continuously gathers data to help landlords and housing providers maintain healthier, more efficient buildings.
