The NTT05 is a 24-hour mechanical immersion heater timeswitch from the Timeguard range, designed for simple and reliable daily timed control of electrical loads such as immersion heaters, lighting, heating circuits, and ventilation systems. It is a cost-effective alternative to digital programmers, offering straightforward operation with minimal setup required.

Unlike the electronic NTT06–NTT08 models, the NTT05 uses a mechanical rotary dial interface, allowing users to set ON and OFF periods by moving segmented pins or tappets around a 24-hour clock face. This makes it particularly suitable for applications where simplicity, durability, and ease of use are preferred over advanced programming features.
