The FuseBox RTAMB16 is a compact 16A mini RCBO (Residual Current Breaker with Overcurrent Protection) designed to provide combined protection against overloads, short circuits, and earth leakage faults in residential and light commercial electrical installations. By integrating MCB and RCD functionality into a single module, it helps save space in consumer units while maintaining high levels of electrical safety.

It features a B Curve tripping characteristic, making it suitable for low inrush current circuits such as lighting, control circuits, smoke alarms, extractor fans, and general-purpose small power loads. The Type A residual current protection detects both AC and pulsating DC fault currents, making it compatible with modern installations containing electronic devices and energy-efficient equipment.

With a 6kA short-circuit breaking capacity and 30mA residual operating sensitivity, the RTAMB16 provides reliable protection against electric shock and fire hazards. The device incorporates double-pole switching (switched live and neutral) for improved isolation and safer maintenance.

Designed for use with FuseBox consumer units, it features a compact single-module DIN rail format with a flying neutral connection for fast installation. It complies with IEC/EN 61009-1 and IEC/EN 61009-2-2 standards, supporting 18th Edition wiring regulation requirements.
