Danlers Wall/Ceiling PIR Occupancy Switches
The DANLERS WACEPIR is a 3-wire passive infrared (PIR) occupancy switch designed to automatically control lighting and other electrical loads based on the detection of human movement. Suitable for both wall and ceiling mounting, the WACEPIR combines PIR motion sensing, adjustable daylight sensing, and configurable time-delay control in a compact unit that can directly replace a standard wall switch or be installed on a ceiling pattress box. It is widely used in offices, schools, hospitals, corridors, stairwells, toilets, storage areas, and other locations where automatic lighting control can improve energy efficiency and convenience.
The unit incorporates a high-sensitivity quad-element passive infrared detector that identifies the movement of warm bodies within its detection zone. When occupancy is detected and ambient light levels are below the selected threshold, the connected lighting circuit is automatically switched on. If no further movement is detected, the switch turns the load off after the selected time period has elapsed. This automated operation helps eliminate unnecessary energy consumption caused by lights being left on in unoccupied spaces.
