The NBS83-01 is a premium 3-gang trailing-edge dimmer switch from the BG Nexus Metal range, designed to provide independent dimming control of up to three separate lighting circuits from a single wall plate. Finished in brushed steel, it offers a modern, durable aesthetic suitable for residential, commercial, and hospitality environments.

Each of the three rotary push-on/push-off dimmers allows smooth adjustment of light levels, making it ideal for creating ambience and improving energy efficiency. The unit supports 2-way dimming functionality, allowing circuits to be controlled from multiple locations when installed with compatible wiring configurations.

Rated at 200W per module (up to approx. 100W LED per channel depending on load type), the NBS83-01 uses trailing-edge dimming technology, ensuring compatibility with most modern dimmable LED lamps as well as halogen and incandescent lighting. It provides soft-start operation, flicker reduction, and quiet dimming performance.

The switch features installer-friendly design elements including captive backed-out terminals, clearly marked wiring positions, and a recommended minimum 25mm back box depth. A built-in moisture-control gasket helps protect the plate during installation, while colour-matched fixing screws and a slim metal profile ensure a clean, professional finish.

The NBS83-01 is fully certified to BS EN 60669-2-1, meeting UK safety and performance standards for dimming controls.
