The BG 855ARCD-01 is a premium 13A unswitched fused connection unit featuring an integrated 30mA Type A RCD for enhanced electrical safety. Designed for hard-wired appliances such as boilers, fridge freezers, water heaters and heating controls, it continuously monitors the electrical supply and automatically disconnects power in the event of an earth fault, helping to protect against electric shock. Its latching (passive) RCD design ensures the unit retains its operating state following a power interruption, making it ideal for appliances that require automatic restart when mains power is restored. Finished in durable white moulded plastic with concealed fixing screw covers, the unit offers a clean, modern appearance and quick installation thanks to colour-coded captive terminals and a built-in flex outlet.
