Aico EI168RC RadioLink Interconnect Base

The Aico Ei168RC RadioLINK Base is a mains-powered wireless interconnection module designed to enable Aico fire and CO alarms to communicate without the need for additional hard-wiring.

It acts as an Easi-fit mounting base with built-in RadioLINK technology, allowing compatible alarms to be converted into a wirelessly interconnected system. When one alarm in the system is triggered, all linked alarms sound simultaneously, improving early warning throughout the property.

The Ei168RC is powered by 230V AC mains electricity and includes a rechargeable lithium backup battery, ensuring continued operation during power cuts and maintaining system connectivity.

It is commonly used with Aico 140RC series alarms (such as smoke and heat detectors) and is ideal for retrofit installations or hybrid systems, where some alarms are hard-wired and others are added wirelessly. This makes it especially useful in properties where running new cabling would be difficult or disruptive.
